My biggest challenge I faced in the foster care system was be getting used to living in a strangers house. I didn’t know where I was going. I overcame it by telling myself everything would be okay. Also I tried out for some sports to help with the challenge of being afraid of going foster homes.

A quote that kept me going was: "It is during our darkest moments that we must focus to see the light." -Aristotle

Another one was: “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world” – Nelson Mandela

An accomplishment that makes me proud was the day I graduated college. In 5 years I see myself working as an FBI agent.

Some changes I would like to see take place within the foster care system would be keeping kids together. And also trying harder to help us.
